This resin-enhanced wax ribbon is a multipurpose bar code ribbon that yields excellent results on a broad range of media. An economical solution for most general use applications, resin-enhanced wax ribbons use an antistatic coating and high sensitivity inks, which operate at low print energy, prolong printhead life and produce high quality, sharp, crisp barcodes and variable images. The recommended printing substrates for this ribbon are coated papers, polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, and PVC films. Resin enhanced wax ribbons are characterized by low printhead energy, abrasion resistance, print flexibility, high density print, and an antistatic printhead saver coating for printhead protection.
