How To Choose The Right Labels for Your Office

There is a label for every purpose. But with so many options, you may wonder which are best for your business. Keep reading to pinpoint your perfect label.

Inventory Labels

Label your products for accuracy and efficiency. We offer a full array of quarterly, dated, control, and numbered inventory labels in solid and high-impact colors for “can’t-miss” visibility and proper tracking.

Shipping & Handling Labels

We offer a wide range of shipping and handling labels for quick identification of inventory, special handling instructions, and regulatory compliance. These pre-printed labels boldly communicate warnings and handling instructions for both local and international shipping. Hazard labels, pallet protection labels, arrow labels, and regulated labels are only a small portion of our stock. See here for more shipping and handling labels.

Thermal Labels

Quick printing. High volume.
For barcodes and other simple printing, thermal labels are best. We carry both Direct Print Thermal and Thermal Transfer labels in various sizes, giving your business an economical solution for most general use applications.

Wait, what’s the difference between direct print thermal and thermal transfer labels?

Direct print thermal labels do not require a ribbon to print. These labels use heat sensitive ink to create the image. They feature a permanent adhesive with a wide temperature range and good “stick”. The smooth surface of our labels offer superior print quality and is excellent for storage, stacking easily. Choose from either fanfold or roll configurations.

Thermal transfer labels require a ribbon to make contact with thestock and transfer the ink from the ribbon to the label to create the image. Our resin-enhanced wax ribbons use high sensitivity inks, which operate at low print energy, prolong printhead life, and create crisp, high quality bar codes and variable images.

The most popular industry printers for thermal transfer labels are Sato, Zebra, and Intermec. Common uses for our thermal transfer labels include fruit and produce labeling, general purpose labeling, inventory (shelf and bin labels), pharmaceutical, retail labeling, transportation, warehouse and logistics.

Inkjet/Laser Cards and Labels

If you use higher-quality printing, then you need these cards or labels. They’re ideal for professional and personal use: crisp, refined business cards, invitations, announcements, and name badges.

Stocked in various colors, including fluorescents and classic white, matte, inkjet laser labels are useful for any environment — shipping, warehouse, schools — where labels must print cleanly and dry quickly.

Pin-fed Labels

Used in pin-fed (continuous feed or dot matrix) printers, these labels are smudge-proof and pressure sensitive. Fan-folded, they are ideal for large quantity addressing, shipping, and mailing. Great for large volume uses and won’t jam or tear while printing.

Integrated Card Forms and Integrated Label Form Sheets

Easy and efficient. Designed to serve two uses per printed sheet, you can print out forms along with a card, label, or envelope at the same time. These integrated labels help to reduce errors and save on printing costs.

Removable Labels

Many of our products are also available in removable paper. These labels give a clean removal and are tear-resistant – perfect for use on binders, drawers, and cardboard boxes. This product uses stay-flat features and reputable adhesives for durable tack.
